"Friends always considered me to be the athletic one in the group. I was the long distance runner, the golfer, and the bowler. But when my body hit 53, things changed. The pounds started inching on. Dissatisfied with exercise DVD's and trying to diet on my own, I began training with Brian in 2006, when I was 56. I signed up for a 12 week weight training and nutrition program and soon learned I had been fooling myself for 30 years. At the end of the 12 weeks, I was 25 pounds lighter, leaner and stronger. "The day I met Brian Chamberlain, I knew I had met someone that was genuinely going to help me meet my goals and beyond. He was very matter-of-fact and I knew that if I listened and absorbed everything---I just might finally be successful at meeting my goals of weight loss. Little did I know that my little science experiment would result in 40 pounds lost and a love for the way my body was responding from eating clean and exercising 6 days a week. It's been three years and I have kept the weight off with renewed vigor to work my body harder every day. I do want to say THANK YOUÂ CINDY! I am SO glad you posted that flyer in the gym. You have been so encouraging every week. The meal program you put together works so well for me. I appreciated how you asked about my average day and put together the plan that fit ME and my life. And when I was getting in a slump, you worked with me to find new ideas for meals and food. You know so much and are so full of good ideas. You have taught me the foundations to healthy eating, helped me make them habits for my life. And you allowed cheat meals so that I never felt deprived the whole time. (well, except the first week - that first week was tough! Detoxing my sugary body was hard work!) Most of all, I appreciate your enthusiasm. Each week you are so upbeat and positive. It is clear you love doing this. I would recommend you to ANYONE who needs to learn how to eat healthy. I look forward to our continued friendship as well as our continuing to work together the rest of the year to get me to my goal weight. See you at the gym!

I started working with Cindy about 5 years ago. I was training in martial arts and lost 10 pounds, but hit a plateau and couldn’t lose any more by myself. I met Cindy through a friend and she helped me with my nutrition and lost 30 pounds with her help! She was there for me every step of the way. She didn’t just tell me what I needed to do. She educated me on what being healthy was and I learned a lot! She was there for every question I had and she is always happy to help. About 3 years ago I stopped training in martial arts and fell back into my bad habits and put on a lot of weight. I recently realized that if I want to make a change…I need Cindy to whoop me into shape. I’m now doing personal training sessions with her and getting my diet back on track with her by my side. I never wanted to join a gym because I was intimidated and I didn’t know anything about working out. I felt self conscious and embarrassed about my body and the weight I have gained, I didn’t want to look stupid, and I felt like I would be judged. Now Cindy is teaching me how to workout correctly and made a workout plan for me to follow. Because of her I have gained so much more confidence and she is so motivating that I signed up for a membership at Ignite and I train by myself 3 days a week. It turns out that everyone at the gym is very nice and I don’t feel judged at all. Ignite has created a great environment with a family-like feel. I never thought I would feel comfortable standing next to someone with huge muscles, but now it motivates me. I would recommend anyone with any type of fitness goal to contact Cindy immediately. She inspires and motivates, and that’s what people need to change their lives.
